Blue Twilight is the eleventh book in the Wings in the Night vampire series. It is set at a point between the events that take place in Twilight Hunger and Embrace the Twilight. Maxine “Mad Max” Stuart, twin sister to fledgling vampires Morgan, and her best friend Storm are about to move into their new office for their new detective agency. When a desperate call from an old friend draws Max and Storm to the small coastal town of Endover, New Hampshire to search for two missing teenage girls.

Now here is where the story becomes simple yet a teensy bit complicated. Lou Malone, a good friend of Max and Storm’s, is reluctantly attracted to Max who has been flirting outrageously with him for years. Lou is almost twice Max's age and a retired cop with a painful past that has left him wary and unwilling to give in to his increasingly strong feelings for Max.

Lou travels with Max and Storm to the creepy town of Endover only to discover that a very powerful vamp has set the town up as his own little kingdom. Now he has to protect Max and Storm from the big bad vamp, find out what the heck is up with the townspeople, and protect his heart-and other parts from Max.

Blue Twilight is a fabulous addition to the Wings in the Night family. The action is non-stop and the secondary storyline featuring Stormy and…well I’ll just let you find that one out yourself. You will not be disappointed with this book. Longtime fans will love it and newcomers to the series will get a great introduction to an amazing series.

Enjoy!
