All Beth’s nephew wants for Christmas is a Daddy

Enter Riley Keenan, a very unlikely prospect!

Jamie is an orphan being brought up by his Aunt Beth, who adores him and wants to make his dreams come true. To do this, she takes him to a lonely cabin in Canada to get some snow to gladden his heart. But finding him a Daddy is a non-starter, and Riley doesn’t fit the picture in any way, even if he does cause Beth's heart to flutter.

Riley is a tough, rugged Rocky Mountain man, and Christmas isn’t for him. Neither is a little boy and his too attractive Aunt, but Riley finds convincing himself of this to be hard work indeed.

I loved this story. It has all the feel of Christmas, giving out all the magic of Santa and the joy of the season. Jamie is adorable, and I wanted Riley’s heart to melt for him. Beth is such a determined woman who wants to give Jamie the Christmas of his dreams.

The sexual tension between Beth and Riley is electrifying, and so very hot that the reader knows Beth and Riley have to get together to release some of that tension or explode if they continue to contain it!

The snow that falls gives the story that beautiful feeling that only snow at Christmas in the countryside can give, especially when you sit in front of a warm fire with a glass of wine and read about it!

This is a really lovely story that will linger in your mind long after you have read the last satisfying page. Full marks to Cara Colter for a special story which gives the season its full meaning and leaves the reader with a warm cosy feeling. A five rose review.
