Under the cover of darkness a battle is being waged between two powerful and deadly enemies. Vampires and Guardians have been deadly adversaries for over a millennium, but the vampires have a plan to gain the upper hand and eliminate their most powerful foe, Grelix the Guardian. Only his human mate Danni, stands in the way.

Danniís life has changed greatly since she mated with Grelix. They are bound together through a bond of love, desire and blood. It is a soul deep bond that could shape the fate of the entire universe for should Danni die, so would Grelix. As connected as they are, it is that very connection that puts both of their lives at risk.

Chageling Press presents a scorching little number for their short holiday novella series Hot Toddy. Guardians: Seasons of Sacrifice relies a lot on the fact that the reader knows the back story of the main characters and the conflict of the series plot. While it was an interesting read, it is possible to be lost in the confusion for a newcomer to the series. Please be aware that this story is very short and that may have contributed to the lack of a real storyline.
