Star Quality is an anthology featuring three terrific authors: Lori Foster, Lucy Monroe and Dianne Castell. The stories all take place in Delicious, Ohio during a “blue” moon, which are two full moons in the same month.

Stan Tucker is a yummy landscaper and the author of several gardening books who has been in Delicious for about 6 months. Stan has the unfortunate ability of reading minds during a full moon and it gets worse when there is a “blue moon”. He also has the “hots” for Jenna Rowan, owner of the local bookstore. What he doesn’t know, but is about to find out, is that Jenna secretly reciprocates his feelings. What he “sees” during an encounter with Jenna gives him the encouragement he craves to make his move. Once he does, WOW!!!! Once in a Blue Moon by Lori Foster is a pretty good read with great characters.

Ivy Kendall is the manager of Old Orchard Inn in Delicious. The inn is owned by HGA, Inc. and Ivy’s boss is the luscious Blake Hawthorne. The company’s plan is to modernize the inn and sell it! Ivy is against the modernization but won’t say why! She’s terrified of anyone finding out that during a full moon, she’s a disaster around electronics. She gets “magnetized’ and can wipe a computer hard drive clean faster than anything! The modernizations suggested, most of which she opposes, are all “computerized!! Blake is coming to see her to find out why she’s so opposed! Moon Magnetism by Lucy Monroe was my favorite story of the three. Blake and Ivy are so good together. Blake is very skeptical of Ivy’s claims but he loves her enough to listen and understand.

Julia has just divorced her husband with the help of hunky P.I. Marc Adams. At exactly noon, she throws her wedding ring in the fountain outside the courthouse and makes a couple of wishes regarding her ex which, amazingly enough, come true right before her eyes!! She then makes a backhanded wish to have hot sex with Marc. After it comes true, she starts thinking about this “wish” stuff. Does Marc really love her or is he just Moonstruck? What happens next? You’ll have to read the book!

Star Quality is a fast, fun read. I do recommend this book! Enjoy!
