William Bradford may look like a typical gambler in Reno, but he is really a fallen angel. He and a band of others joined Lucifer and rebelled against God. They were punished for their transgressions in many ways. Some of the fallen angels have turned totally toward evil and now prey on humans. Others have tried to redeem themselves over the centuries and have become Enforcers who hunt down those who are evil. William is one step beyond Enforcer; he has become an Avenger.

William meets Abby, a beautiful casino employee, and is instantly attracted to her. When the messenger angel, Mika'il, comes to tell William that Abby may be in the middle of something truly bad and needs watching, William knows he must help. He also gets a call from another fallen angel, Dominic, who has come from New Orleans to Reno to help. The three of them become embroiled in a situation that is a true battle of good versus evil.

This is the second book in a series, but stands well on its own. There is a wealth of background material to explain fallen angels, which is presented with lively dialog and vivid descriptions. The characters are written in rich detail and the plot is complex, but easy to follow. Plenty of steamy love scenes are blended with thought provoking passages on spirituality and life.

Ms. Aaron has written another fabulous paranormal erotic story. With her storytelling talent, she is bound to succeed in any genre. I look forward to more stories of the Fallen in the near future.
