A victim of love, due to her philandering husbandís roving eyes, newly widowed Sophie Banner has given up on love forever. All she wants to do is to publish her late husbandís poems and get on with her life.

Dominic Swift, the Duke of Saltaire, has loved Sophie for years. The night before her ill-fated marriage to Broderick, he had even asked Sophie to choose him instead, only to have her refuse because of her deep affection for Broderick.

When three years reunites them, the fire still lingers beneath their hearts. Will Dominic finally be able to make Sophie his or will a dangerous search for hidden treasure permanently destroy his chance for a happy ending?

A Duke For Christmas is a charming tale about a well-deserved second chance at love. For all the intrigue lovers out there, this touching novel also contains a lively splash of mystery.

Dominic Swift is a hero every woman will love. His patience knows no bounds as he tries to control the depths of his love and passion from Sophie. Though this reviewer had a hard time understanding Sophieís everlasting dedication to Broderick, Sophie still came across as a likeable heroine because of her strong character and gentle heart. These multi-dimensional characters emphasize the clever and richly detailed plot. Their lives make a fabulous story, which will have you rapidly turning the pages.

If this is your first Pratt novel, prepare your checkbook because it wonít be your last.
