A Berry Merry Christmas is a book capable of bringing forth tears of joy and/or laughter. This is a great book!

After the loss of her husband, James, Amber McAllister has returned home to her small town of Misty Harbor, Maine! Not only is it a place to heal but a place where she hopes to establish herself again, to become the strong woman she once was. Amber will run into some road blocks but none she cannot knock down or run over. Her Mother for one just does not understand Amber and is prone to saying things she will have to make up for later.

There is also Amber's Aunt Grace who can understand the heartache her niece is trying to overcome. You see, Aunt Grace lost her husband a while back also, but she is ready to start living. While Amber is taking care of the store, Berries Jam Company, Aunt Grace finally realizes she has eyes for only one man. Wonder who will make the first move here, Aunt Grace or Abe?

Ian McNeal is Amberís deceased husband's partner from the Ad Agency that they both owned. Amber has asked Ian to help her by running an Ad Campaign, which he does wonderfully. Out on a drive, Ian decides to give Amber the rest of the money that is owed to her from the settlement of the Ad Agency. But that is not his only reason for stopping by. Is Ian still in love with Amber? There is one thing that Ian is having trouble moving past, and that is Jamesí ghost! How long will Ian stay to help Amber with the business that Aunt Grace is just too busy for and will Aunt Grace realize her niece needs a break too?

I look forward to reading other books by Marcia Evanick. I think that she should write another story about the same town and keep us updated on Amber, Ian, Aunt Grace and Abe!
