Youíll be able to turn the thermostat down in the house when you pick up this newest Temptation title by Darlene Gardner as itís guaranteed to raise your temperature by at least a few degrees.

Itís almost that time of year again and while everyone else is running around searching for the perfect gift, architect Riley Carter is planning how best to win back his ex-girlfriend Kate Marino. Once he finds out from a mutual realtor friend of his and Kateís that a furnished apartment is available directly across the hall from Kate, he puts his plan in motion.

Kate has never quite gotten over her feelings for Riley however while the sex was great, she knows that he is not looking for a long term relationship. So when he moves in as her new neighbor, she knows that his efforts to be her friend are only a scheme to work his way back into her bed. Kate quickly comes up with a plan of her own that will leave Riley hot and bothered.

Iím not normally a fan of books where the couples are trying to play mind games with each other, however this particular book was absolutely charming. Both Kate and Riley were so well suited for each other, not to mention that the chemistry between them was enough to scald my fingertips. Youíll love watching these two stubborn folks play a dangerous game of seduction with each other before coming together in what was a very happy ending.
