The latest release from Cait London—Hidden Secrets will keep you glued to the edge of your chair until the very last page is turned. At that point you’ll hesitate in getting up as you want to savor a well written and thought out book.

Marlo Monroe and Spence Gerhard were teenage sweethearts, but to Marla that was a long time ago. Since then she’s suffered the angst all teens go through when ending a relationship compounded with the fact that she was pregnant when the relationship ended, and subsequently lost the baby. She’s also married, divorced, and is now on the brink of becoming a highly successful interior designer.

Spence has played the field since the breakup with Marlo. However he also has suffered since his teen years. He has grown and matured and come to realize maybe he treated a teenaged Marlo unfairly. Is he still infatuated with Marlo? Is she still the only girl for him? Is that why he’s now got a reputation as being a love ‘em and leave ‘em type of guy? He’s also suffered the unbearable loss in the form of the deaths of his sister Traci, her young son, Cody, and later his mother Elsie.

Spence cannot rest until he finds the remains of his nephew. As he continues to embark on his search for Cody the danger too not only himself grows, but also to that of Marlo, and a close friend of theirs Cherry. Spence knows it’s too late to protect his sister, but he’s determined to do what he can to protect Marlo and Cherry.

Who could want to harm Marlo and Cherry and why? What secrets have been well guarded for years could finally be brought to the surface? How will the revelation of these secrets affect not only Marlo, and Spence, but what is the potential of affecting the reputations of others in the small town of Godfrey?

Ms. London has written a tale of suspense that holds the suspense for the majority of the book. The final plot twist is well written, and personally threw me for a loop. As I said at the beginning of this review, when I closed the last page of Hidden Secrets I was a very satisfied reader. One who will be anxiously awaiting Ms. London’s next release.
