Olivia Sealy has led a quiet life in the twenty-five years that have passed since her parents murder and her own kidnapping. Even the sizzling but short encounter she had as a teenager with heart throb Trey Bonney came to an abrupt halt when her grandfather realized what side of the tracks he came from.

However this time around, Detective Trey Bonney will be thrown back into their lives when a remodeling project on an old home turns up a suitcase with the skeleton of a baby girl inside. It is soon determined that this baby is about the same age that Olivia was when she was taken from her own family.

Once the news hits the media, Olivia realizes she’ll have more than her memories to deal with since it seems that someone wants her dead! Soon her and her entire family will have to put their trust in Trey if they want to stay alive long enough to piece together the puzzle and find the murderer.

Usually I plow through Dinah’s books in a matter of hours, but this time I had a difficult time getting started. But while the beginning may have lagged, midway through the book I was completely engrossed and had trouble putting it down. Trey is an awesome hero who left my own heart pitter-pattering, but I felt that Olivia, while definitely the victim in this story, was a little bit too meek, especially for a man like Trey. The storyline itself offers plenty of twists and turns, which left me wondering to the very end. Fans of this talented authors previous books will want to make this new story part of their collection.
