Faith Cooper overhears the minister asking for her hand in marriage. When her Puritan father refuses to step in and help her, she feels she must take matters into her own hands and sets out to find her estranged Aunt in Jamica. During her travels, she meets Geoffrey Hampton and begins to slowly steal his heart away.

Geoffrey Hampton is a proclaimed bachelor for life. He is not prepared for the beauty he finds in his cabin or the feelings she stirs inside him. Despite his heartís cries, he determines he will be rid of her once and for all in Jamica.

Into His Arms is an exciting historical romance, with high sea adventure. The reader also sees a little glimpse of Puritan life. This tale encompasses a few different degrees of love, and shows how strong a bond family really is. One canít help but find herself rooting for Faith and that it will all work out in the end.

This novel is a quick read with a very satisfying romance. Readers will love the characters and will find themselves wishing the story didn't have to end. The secondary character, Geoffrey's friend, appears in Reed's next story, For Her Love. This reviewer will be happily reading that one sometime soon!
