Ms. Hagan Lee brings us her third installment of her Free Fellows League series. A league of boys; who are now men, who have vowed to never marry.

After the death of her vicar father, Sarah Eckersley and her maiden aunt are tossed out of their home with no place to go. They travel to London in order to find Sarah a husband, or else she will be forced to marry a man not of her choosing, which could be worse than death, at least as far as Sarah is concerned. She has but one chance to make a life for herself. She must become a courtesan, but first she needs to know how to be one.

Jarrod, fifth Marquess of Shepherdston is minding his own business seeing to estate affairs, when his butler announces that he has a midnight visitor, a ‘female’ visitor. When a very beautiful, somewhat wet, lady walks into his study, Jarrod is surprised to see that it is none other than little Sarah Eckersley. Sarah used to be a thorn in his side during his childhood, always following him and getting into mischief. But what was she doing there and why was she wearing almost nothing under her coat? What was going on?

When Sarah explains her problem to Jays (as she has always called him, which irks him to no end!), she tells him that she wants him to help her with lessons in seduction; after all, how is she to become a good courtesan if she doesn’t know how to go about it. What Jays doesn’t know is that Sarah has loved him her whole life and if getting him to help her also makes him fall in love with her, then so much the better. Nothing would make her happier than being his wife and not someone else’s mistress.

This is a fun story. There is such a history with Sarah and Jarrod, and the author does an excellent job of bringing that history alive for the reader. The reader is never left wondering about anything. Sarah wants Jays and will stop at nothing to get him, and when Jarrod finally realizes that Sarah is his destiny, there is no stopping him either. With wonderful secondary characters and many ideas for future books, Ms. Hagan Lee has a very successful series in her hands.

If you like spice and fun in your romances, then this book is definitely for you! Enjoy!!
