It has been five months since SG5 operative Eli McKenzie’s mission in Mexico left him questioning his judgment and his sanity. Slow poisoning from an unknown source at the Spectra IT compound where he was deep undercover forced him to abort his mission prematurely. As a result, private investigator Stella Banks is in a world of trouble.

Unaware that the guard she poisoned is one of the good guys, Stella had to eliminate the large appealing obstacle in order to help the teenage girls being kept there pending sale to the highest bidder.

When she is caught and faced with the same fate, Stella begins to believe that she might not escape in time to prevent being the party favor at the homecoming party of the guard she poisoned.

Eli returns to the compound to a welcome home party where the party favour is the woman who could make this bad boy behave very badly indeed. Now, he has to get them and two dozen girls out of the compound before Spectra’s new frontman shows up and blows Eli’s cover.

Alison Kent concludes her engaging series about the scrumptious alphas of SG-5 and the shadowy syndicate Spectra IT. The McKenzie Artifact is the fifth book in this thrilling, stimulating series chock full of steamy love scenes and explosive adventure.

Enjoy the ride!
