The second novel of Jacey Fordís spectacular Partners In Crime series finds ex-FBI agent Aimee Devlin undercover as an employee of an aeronautics firm in San Antonio Texas. Joe McConnell has hired the partners to find out who is stealing designs and perhaps other information from McConnell Aeronautics and exactly who they are giving the information to. He wonít see his company ruined.

Despite the fact that Aimee plays her looks down while at work fellow employee Race Gardner sees through Aimee Devlinís cover and busts her almost from the beginning. Race is a CIA operative looking for the same thing Aimee is looking for although he suspects the stealing may involve more than just someone making a quick buck. Race has reason to believe the plot may involve national security.

Although she wants nothing to do with Race and the CIA it soon becomes necessary for Race to make a deal with Aimee for her help on the case. In exchange he will erase the fact that she was once an FBI agent from all records. A little thing like that could get her killed in the future.

When the suspected terrorists threaten Aimeeís life though things take a drastic turn. How deep does the corruption go? Who can they trust? As Race tries to help Aimee stay alive the chemistry between them really heats up.

I Spy proved to be even a better book than the first story in this outstanding series, Dangerous Curves. Jacey Ford has certainly made a name for herself in the romantic suspense genre and will have readers hungry for the third book in this action packed series.

Her plot line seemed very real and her characters are the sort that have the ability to catch the reader up in their story line. Ms. Fordís villain in this story is especially sinister and well written and the scene where she first introduces him gave this reader chills. If you are looking for an exciting new romantic suspense author then run donít walk to your nearest book store and grab a copy of I Spy and Dangerous Curves and settle in for a thrill a minute ride in the world of Jacey Ford. Make sure to be on the lookout for the third novel in this series, Dead Heat to be released later this year.
