It had been five years since the magical moment that transpired between Jake and Cass. The night that Cass had been dreaming of since she was way too young to be having such thoughts. However the magical night ended up being only a one-night stand and only Cass knows the present that Jake left behind.

Now with her friend’s upcoming wedding, of which Jake is also a member of the bridal party, Cass starts to be seriously concerned. First off she’s never gotten over him and second off, he still has no idea that her precious daughter Chloe is his.

When the big wedding day finally arrives, Jake finds it hard to keep his eyes off Cass and doesn’t quite like the looks she is getting from all the other men in attendance. When an opportunity arises to follow Cass away from the crowds, he takes advantage of the moment to steal a kiss and persuading her to spend the night with him.

The rest of the book is filled with some wonderfully warm scenes between Jake and Cass, which this reader found romantic since you could actually not only feel the heat but also feel the romance developing. As always I think I’m more a fan of “romantica” versus “erotica” and this book fell into the first category for me.

You’ll have to read the book yourself to catch all the charming scenes between Jake and his daughter as they get to know one another without ever knowing that they are father and daughter. I can tell you that this book will give you happy ever after lovers the ending that you so desire.

I’m not sure if this is the first book by this particular author or not, but I do plan on trying to find out.
