Brook Meylan, Lady A’Court is desperately trying to escape the constant eyes of the ton. But meddling relatives, although well meaning, keep interfering with her solitude. Having convinced her to join them in London, another person arrives on the scene. Mallory Claeg, famous for seducing beautiful women and has a reputation of being a libertine and rogue. He is definitely one person who could easily shake up the quiet and serene world Brook has tried to create for herself.

Mallory Claeg is an artist. Yes, he has a reputation for being a libertine and a notorious rake, but what no one knows is that he harbors a secret obsession for Brook Meylan. Now that he has found her again, he intends to show her just what she has been missing by secluding herself away from the ton and London. But can he convince her that he is also her destiny? What he needs to do first is get rid of her meddling, well-meaning relatives.

Ms. Pierce brings us another fantastic story of romance that is sure to become a favorite. Her characters are very well-written and never lacking in personality. Brook is a very determined woman who seems to have met her match in Mallory. Together they find that love works in mysterious ways, whether we want it to or not. The secondary characters play an important role in the story. There are great possibilities of more stories from several of the characters.

Funny, charming, and romantic. What else would you want in your romance? A sure keeper for your romance collection.
