When Diana Grayís husband died over twenty-one years ago, she forgot about her own needs and dedicated herself to raising her daughter Megan. She never thought she would have a place in her life or her heart for another man.
Then in her fortieth year, she meets Paul Bryan, the most handsome, charismatic man sheís ever met, and he makes no secret of the fact that he wants to get to know her better. There is an age difference between the two, and Diana canít handle the idea of being several years older than Paul. Paul isnít willing to give up though. He urges Diana to take a much needed vacation and reconsider her choices in life.
On her vacation, Diana is led into a medieval realm by a detour on the highway. Here, she is held hostage by a mysterious knight in shining armor who claims to love her. The only way she can truly escape is by listening to her heart.
A Knight This Way Cometh is a splendid retreat from a boring day. The characters are uniquely exciting. Ruthie is a total doll, and the kind of mother every bad boy should have. The dialogue is witty and engaging and will play over and over again in the readerís mind. Although there is little mystery as to the knightís true identity, the chemistry between Diana and the knight is so powerful that one wonít be bored for even a second.
Using the title of this novel as the reason behind the heroís actions was a clever idea on Hassellís part. This reviewer can only hope that the author will send another novel this way sooneth.
