Cade Harding had no intention of getting involved in his auntís search for her grandson. Until she reminded him how often she had helped his mother while he was growing up. With the fresh reminder of just where his slice of bread had come from, he couldnít dare refuse. Reluctantly he sets out to find out where Josh is.

Addy had buried her past, and then Cade brought it all back. She, Beauty, and Gus were three homeless adolescents accused of murder so they fled. Now as she faces Cade, she must also face her past and the secrets buried there.

An intriguing tale of suspense, the reader is given clues and knows what characters were involved in the crime in question. Yet, there are a thousand tiny missing pieces that one must try and discover and guess where they fit into the overall puzzle. Definitely a tale that will leave you guessing about something until the last page.

Interesting characters come to life throughout the story. The biggest question is does the reader really know them? Which one would commit the horrible crime in question? And just where is the missing grandson? Does anyone know?
