Suddenly Sexy is the newest book by Ms. Lee and the start of a new trilogy. And what a way to start, Suddenly Sexy is just that, sexy. We get to read about two people that have been friends forever and one looking out for the other. They both love each other but have been afraid to show their love towards each other. Not for the lack of trying on Kateís part.

Kate is a news anchor for a local television station. She is having problems with that, as people donít like the prim and proper Kate. The one that never laughs or has a good time and all of that, is about to change when Jesse Chapman walks onto the set of her new show. Kate hasnít seen Jesse in years but the feelings havenít changed.

Jesse is back to his home town after being named a hero, when he saved a womanís life. Only problem is, he really isnít a hero in his mind and he doesnít like what he sees on the news about his life in those clips. So off he goes to try to reclaim his life and that includes his golf game as well.

Can being back in his home town and staying in the cottage on Kateís property, be enough for him and getting on with his life?

Kate doesnít see herself as sexy but she does try in more ways than one and not only with Jesse either. There is some laugh-out-loud moments and others that pull at your heart. It is interesting to see how Jesse and Kate interact with each other when the sexual tension is so strong that you could cut it with a knife. Suddenly Sexy has a few twists and turns along the way and a surprise or two thrown in as well. This story was a great start to the trilogy by Ms. Lee. I will definitely be on the lookout for the other two stories, Sinfully Sexy and Simply Sexy.
