Maggie OíRoarkeís life is at its lowest point ever. Her fledgling business failed, leaving her beyond broke. Her beloved mother, her best friend, is dead. As if all of that is not bad enough, a midnight craving for some comfort food puts Maggie in the worst place at the worst possible moment. Attacked by a vampire and left to bleed to death in an alley, Maggie utilizes her dwindling energy to fight for her life. Just when she is about to give up she is saved by Danior, a vampire lord.

The Council, the governing body of the vampyr world, has forbidden the turning of humans into vampires. In a world already full to bursting with them, it is a death sentence for the human who has been turned and to those harboring them. In a moment, Daniorís long forgotten feelings of humanity are reawakened by the woman laying in the filthy alleyway at his feet. Now, he will take on the role of mentor and lover, introducing Maggie to the pleasures to be found in her new life as a vampire. In the meantime, he will have to do everything within his power to protect them both from The Councilís death sentence.

Carnal Thirst is a feast for the senses. This spin-off continues the thrilling saga of the war between the Lycans and the Vampyrs that began in Carnal Appetite. Daniorís story is as scrumptious as the others. Strong characterization and great pacing in this plot will keep you engrossed until the satisfying ending.
