In Killing Time her first single title Leslie Kelly brings readers back to her zany off beat fun loving small town of Derryville, Il.

Local bad boy Mick Winchester and Caroline Lamb were lovers eight years ago in college. They had what Mick thought was the perfect relationship both in the bedroom and out. Mick thought they were ready to take their relationship to the next level right up until the day Caroline chose Hollywood over him and walked out of his life. Although he will never admit it to anyone Caroline broke his heart that day.

Caroline has returned to town as an assistant producer of the new reality murder mystery show “Killing Time In A Small Town”. She never dreamed handling all the details would be quite so hectic. Caroline needs a place to stay while in town and with relater Mick’s help finally settles on a room in a lovely house. Little does she realize that none other than Mick himself owns the house.

Despite their differences Mick becomes invaluable in getting the local people who are hired as extras to cooperate with the plans for the show. Can these two former lovers make it through a season of this zany new reality show and still remain friends or should they give into lingering feelings and become lovers once again? Before the season is over a real murder throws a whole new twist in the mix giving the characters just one more problem to solve.

Using the popularity of reality TV as a backdrop Leslie Kelly has created a fun, sexy and unique story that readers will be drawn into. Mick Winchester is a bad boy who finally meets his match in old flame Caroline. The banter between these two characters is particularly entertaining.

Readers of Ms Kelly’s previous books set in Derryville will be pleased to catch up with former cast members in this entertaining tale. Killing Time is another fun and memorable tale from a talented author.
