James Tremaine has a pile of threatening letters pertaining to the car wreck that ended his parentsí lives. The letters warn that the wreck wasnít an accident and that James is next on the killerís hit list. Fear has no place in his vocabulary, but guilt and anger do. James wants to find the truth, even if he finds out that a killer has gone free. So he goes to question the private investigator he had hired all those years ago.


Tori Corbett is dealing with the recent death of her father when James Tremaine arrives, asking questions about a twenty-year-old case. Somehow, she manages to convince the guy to let her do some snooping around for him. What she begins to uncover. throws both of them for a loop. As the danger to them mounts, James and Tori have to decide if they will be able to trust each other with something more important than the truth, their love.


Action packed with explosions and shootings, Dangerous Deceptions keeps you on the edge of your seat with excitement. Tori and James are two people who donít trust easily. As the book moves on, they find it gets harder to trust each other, but their attraction to each other clouds the issue. Finally, both manage to overcome their past to find a steamy relationship waiting for them. It is good to see the other Tremaine siblings with their lives straightened out and on the road to happily ever after. James and Tori both learn the value of losing control. Pick up Kylie Brantís newest book and brace yourself for an intense ride.
