Notorious rake Justin Sterling, known as the handsomest man in all England, enters into a wager with a friend. He has to deflower the debutante known by the Ton as The Unattainable. Considering his track record, he can not resist the challenge. But is he in for a surprise.

During her season, Miss Arabella Templeton turned down several marriage proposals, which in turn have earned her the title of The Unattainable. Not to mention the fact that she is now the object of a wager and that her virtue is in peril.

Arabella and Justin have known each other since childhood. Now, Arabella finds herself the object of Justin’s attention. Justin, on the other hand, never thought that the testy little girl would grow up to become such a lovely young lady.

A Perfect Groom is the sequel to Samantha James’ A Perfect Bride. It tells the story of Sebastian Sterling’s younger brother, Justin. Although a bit more serious than the first book in this series, (this book is part of a trilogy), it is filled with emotion and charm. Both Arabella and Justin draw the reader like a magnet. They both are beautifully drawn, keeping the reader engaged in their story from beginning to end. Justin makes for a delicious hero, somewhat brooding, but not overwhelmingly so. Arabella has some issues to deal with as well. With a very nice level of sexual tension to match, A Perfect Groom is a truly enthralling romance that will delight not only Samantha James’ fans but also lovers of historical romance.
