Damien Black knows art. Heís learned what he likes by studying it, asking about it and stealing it. As a retired art thief, he doesnít want to rock the boat. He just wants to live a normal life with his expensive sports cars and huge houses. Traveling to exotic locations and loving the most beautiful women, his life should be complete. Yet, he still feels like something is missing. Maybe itís the thrill of the game, planning and executing the perfect heist. Or maybe itís deeper than that. Damien might be looking for a woman to love, a soul mate to fill the empty spot in his heart.

When heís asked to pull one more job, he seriously considers coming out of retirement to do it. He knows that he could do it. The job would challenge him to find out if he still have what it takes to steal paintings worth millions. He doesnít expect to run into Angel LaFonte and be instantly attracted to her. Now, he is suddenly faced with the question: does he risk the love he feels for her for one more thrill?

Angel LaFonte is looking forward to her new job as art director at the museum that Damien is thinking about robbing. Coming back to Atlanta after several years abroad, she longs to find peace and comfort. Sheís even willing to deal with her overprotective brother. She isnít looking for love again, but a chance encounter with Damien makes her rethink her life.

Whether Damien decides to go ahead and rob the museum or not, there are people in the background who want to make sure he does. Can Damien and Angel survive the danger lurking in the shadows?

If You Dare is an unusual romantic suspense with a wonderfully different hero and heroine. Damien Black isnít your typical hero, yet he shows a depth of emotion that makes him a man to root for. It doesnít matter if heís stealing a painting or stealing a heart. Angel is a fiercely independent woman who is willing to do what it takes to help herself and those she loves. She also has a few secrets that add spice to the story. The secondary characters shine with their own brilliance as the story speeds along. This is definitely a story this reader didnít want to see end.
