Solara, faerie princess of D’Naath, is betrothed to a man she has never met. Her destined mate, the ruler of neighbouring Southern realm, is rumoured to be a cold man. However, in spite of her royal fiancé she longs for Roarke, the elven knight who protects Winterland, her sister Noele’s new home. While visiting her sister at Winterland with her departure to the Southern lands approaching, Solara makes a decision that changes her fate. She is tormented by the knowledge that her love for Roarke has no future since she is bound to another. His sense of honor and duty prevents him from pursuing her.

For Roarke, his sense of duty rules his life. Although his heart and his body yearn to hold Solara in his arms, claiming her for all time, he is very aware of his responsibilities. Sometimes too much so. He is torn by his duty to his king, respect for another’s claim and the unrelenting desire to claim Solara for himself.

Kismet:Fiery Fate is a faery tale for a new generation. These faeries do a lot more than pollinate plants and sprinkle faery dust all over the place. Strong characterization and an engaging plot centered on an unrequited love theme make this story a definite ‘page turner’. Short, but sweet, Kismet: Fiery Fate will satisfy in a big way.
