It’s been three years since Maddy Green last saw her ex husband Jack. During those she years, she’s managed to move on with her life and find a sense of joy with her wealthy employer and fiancé, Andrew Barnes.

Then suddenly, just a few days before her upcoming wedding, Maddy receives a mysterious Fed Ex package from Jack. The parcel contains mementos of the life the two once shared. Other packages follow and despite Maddy’s commitment to Andrew, she finds herself reliving her life before him. Ultimately, revisiting the past reveals present day truths, and in the end, Maddy must decide where she is supposed to be at this point and time in her life. Perhaps she should still be kissing her ex?

Kissing Your Ex, is another insightful and clever novel to be added to Brooke Stevens already impressive literary resume. As well, it is an imaginative piece that lulls the reader quietly and then grips hold with a compelling force that doesn’t lessen until the complete story is told.

Adjectives which can best be used to describe the multidimensional characters of Kissing Your Ex, range from caring to despicable to likeable to manipulative and unfeeling. Whatever name fits, all of the players in this drama are consistently entertaining and carry their lines effortlessly.

Another adjective to describe Kissing Your Ex - exceptional.
