When schoolteacher Julie Rose is kidnapped from her home in Visitation and held for ransom, her wealthy fiancé hires mercenary Clint Evans to rescue her. However, the situation is not as cut and dried as it seems. Clint smells a rat; he is suspicious of his employer’s motives and decides to modify the plan a little. He’ll rescue the damsel in distress but he’ll be keeping her until further notice. Clint will make sure it is safe for Julie Rose to return to her life before he lets her out of his arms…and maybe not even then.

Life was puttering along very well for unwilling heiress Julie Rose. She had a good job, good friends, and she was finally rid of her ex-finace. Of course, that’s the perfect time for things to start going wrong. Trouble or no trouble Julie Rose is not about to take the situation lying down…or tied up. When one of the most intriguing men she has ever come in contact with stalks from the woods in the nick of time to take on four punks on his own, Julie is enraptured and determined to get to know her not so gentle knight.

In Just a Hint Clint we revisit the sometimes odd, but wildly entertaining men and women of Visitation, NC. Readers unfamiliar with the connected series that began with Say No To Joe? will definitely want to go back look for the other books in this continuing series. The story is a light refereshing fun read that will please fans of the men of Visitation, and will stimulate newbies into hunting down copies of earlier offerings. So, take the hint, go find Clint!
