Ever wonder what it would be like to start over with your two best friends in the world? This is the chance that Nikki Burgess, Dixie McPherson and Carlisle Bartlett get. Three friends who all work in the airline industry in Arizona and just canít seem to grasp that brass ring.

Nikki Burgess is blessed with two great kids but one rotten ex husband who just happened to drop dead and leave her and the kids absolutely NOTHING except a huge mortgage on a house that should have been half hers. When a chance comes to join a start-up airline in Las-Vegas she knows it is time to spread her wings and fly to a new home.

Poor Dixie McPherson - you would think she had it all. Great looks, great figure, super personality, great job as a stewardess who can pretty much choose her own flights, a closet full of clothes and of course jewelry Ė lots of jewelry that men have showered her with over the years. Dixie would trade it all in a heartbeat for the chance at true love and a houseful of kids. With nothing left to lose she might as well join her friend Nikki in Las Vegas and see if she can find a job with the airline and maybe find her illusive dream.

Last but not least is Carlisle Ė attractive, great dresser and loyal to a fault even to the man in his life who uses him as a human punching bag when they are not in bed. Only his friends know his real secrets and they are determined to convince him to join them in Vegas.

Can it possibly be blue skies ahead for this odd threesome? For those readers interested in any phase of the airline industry, you should devour this book. However, being a person who has never flown herself I found that this book dragged a bit for me even though I did feel that Carr had come up with some charming characters. I personally think that Iíll be more likely to enjoy her next book in the Grace Valley series myself.
