Once again MaryJanice Davidson has given us a story to sink our teeth into and laugh out loud at the antics in Undead and Unemployed. Ms. Davidson is still giving us the witty dialogue and intriguing characters in this story that we have come to expect and anticipate from her.

Betsy, aka the Queen of the Vampires, wants a job. She doesnít have any money and she doesnít like living off of Jessica. Of course, she doesnít have any bills to pay as Jessica took care of all of that the first time she died. But she still doesnít like it, so off she goes to the unemployment office for assistance. Only she didnít find it there that is for sure, so where does she go to help sooth herself? The Mall. Yep, to Macyís and guess what happens, she gets a job working in the shoe department. Betsy is a lover of shoes and this is just what she wants.

Only the job sort of interferes with being the Queen or should I say being the Queen is interfering with the job. Someone is killing vampires and it is up to her, Sinclair, Tina and a few others to find out who and why and soon.

Sinclair is back ladies and just as yummy as in Undead and Unwed. Only now, by vampire law he and Betsy are married. Sinclair is still Sinclair only now a little more protective of Betsy, if that can happen. We can't have a queen without her king now can we?

Ms. Davidson brings back a lot of the characters from the first story and gives us a few new ones as well. She gives us someone killing vampires, we are given a little more information from the book of the dead, that by the way, Betsy still hasnít read. Jessie and Marc are back and they take up residence with Betsy and changes are being made there as well. We also learn a few things more about Betsy, as she is still struggling with the whole "Iím dead and the Queen of the Vampires thing". With these new things, will be quite interesting to learn what Ms. Davidson has in store for Betsy, Sinclair and the rest of the characters.

If you need to get away for a few hours, then pick up Undead and Unemployed. This story will have you laughing out loud and have a smile on your face when you least expect it. The story will have you turning the pages to find out what Betsy is up to next and how the others are trying to cope with her. I wonder how long we have to wait for our next Betsy and Sinclair fix? I hope it isnít too long.
