Detective Blake Hammond is more than ready for some needed and deserved vacation time, but unfortunately he is informed that his plans have to be put on hold because he's been assigned to work undercover with a DEA agent on a priority case. He's not too thrilled to learn the case is called "Operation Honeymoon" and is even less enthusiastic to learn the DEA agent will be the one in charge. That is, until he meets the agent.

Ronnie Carmichael isn't happy with having to go undercover with the devastatingly handsome Detective Hammond, especially when they both feel an instant attraction when they first meet. She's determined to solve the case as quickly and efficiently as possible, and then retire from the Agency. She learns fast that Blake is just as determined to act on the attraction between them, despite her every attempt to snub him.

Posing as honeymooners they go to a ritzy resort where it's believed a drug lord is using the place for shipping drugs. The sensual atmosphere of the resort and their close confinement with one another fuel the heat of attraction for Blake and Ronnie. Blake uses every opportunity to get Ronnie to react to him, but she tries hard to stay clear of his attempts. Ronnie has another reason for not wanting to get involved with Blake, but soon finds she is succumbing to the temptation of one very determined Blake.

They finally succumb to the attraction between them and it heats up the pages! After they have solved the mysterious identity of the drug lord, discovered his secret operation on the island, and have been kidnapped and almost killed, Blake and Ronnie finally admit their love for one another.

Like all Jamie's books, this one sizzles with sexual tension and hot love scenes, has excitement, and is a definite page-turner 'keeper'.
