Talented newcomer Jane Sullivan presents Stray Hearts, a romantic comedy for animal lovers.

Kay Ramsey does not hate animals but she is afraid of them. And when her dog-loving fiancé cheated on her, she hired a grooming service to shave UP YOURS on his prize-winning dogs! As a consequence, she is sent to a home for strays to do 100 hours of community work. Kay might be horrified and scared, but with a veterinarian as handsome and sexy as Matt Forester in the bargain… I promise you, resisting him, cute kittens and forlorn dogs is impossible!

Max Forester needs money. If getting it means taking on Kay, no matter how much she seems to avoid his foundlings, then so be it. And what if he falls for her and cannot have her without losing the much-needed support for his animals?

Ms. Sullivan's message of finding true love in unusual places and unlikely candidates is a joy to behold and makes Stray Hearts a heartwarming, kind and humorous story not to be missed. This story will put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart.

In her first two Harlequin Duets stories, Stray Hearts and The Matchmaker's Mistake, Jane Sullivan has shown a heart for non-conformist characters, individuals with a big heart and the willingness to help others. They are real, with flaws that are familiar and dreams that the reader can sympathize with, as they are not of fame and fortune but of acceptance, love and respect. Ms. Sullivan creates heroes and heroines with strong personalities, not bending to expectations but willing to compromise in the name of love.

What a great discovery! Jane Sullivan has what it takes to win over just any romantic comedy reader. Fast paced and with plenty of laughs, Stray Hearts is a must-read.
