Cerise Bordeaux has stumbled into the Helsing Wood. Now, this wouldn’t be so bad if the woods weren’t rumoured to be cursed and home to all manner of dangerous accursed creatures. To make matters even worse, she is lost and has the worst sense of direction; therefore, she has no idea which path will lead her out of the Wood towards her home. Initially Cerise entered the Wood in search of her missing sister, Bianca, but she never dreamed she’d end up lost, and hopefully, alone in the Wood. When the mystifying, handsome vampire lord of legend, Daegon Eerlansson, confronts her things takes an intriguing turn.
In Daegon’s embrace Cerise felt no fear for her life - just her virtue. With her neck arched for his kiss it wasn’t her blood she had to worry about. Cerise has to fight the consuming attraction she feels for Daegon with his every kiss. If she is ever going to escape his lair she will have to resist the passion of his kiss.
In this sequel toWhite as Snow, Red as Blood is not your typical erotic romance. The gothic elements of the story enhance the rough sensuality of the hero, Daegon Erlansson. If there is such a thing as a humorous gothic romance then Morgana de Winter has penned a new addition to the sub-genre. Although the speed with which the characters discover their love for one another gives the tale a rushed quality, it is still a spellbinding short read.
But don’t take my word for it see for yourself.
