When English lady Storm Eldon is captured by Tavis MacLagan, the Scottish warrior has his hands full as she is no easy captive. The MacLagan Clan are holding her hostage.

This is a riveting tale. Storm is a magical heroine. She is fiery, and brave and while she fights her attraction for Tavis, attracted she definitely is. Tavis is hot for Storm but thinks it is just lust.

I love the way these two characters react to each other. Sparks fly for sure. Storm wins the respect of the clan. She knows how to take care of herself but Tavis is a match for her.

The story is very good but not for the faint-hearted. While not an erotic novel there is very strong sexual scenes including kinky sex scenes involving Stormís stepmother and the man who wants to marry Storm. They do not detract from the story and the author uses them to show the characters of this unholy pair!

The book keeps the reader hooked throughout the tale though I felt Tavis needed a real shake to make him see how much he loved Storm. He is easy to forgive though as he is such a gorgeous hunk of a man.

Hannah Howell has a deep knowledge of the history between the Scots and the English and paints a good picture of their turbulent history. Stormís Irish blood explains how she was able to adjust to the Scots way of life easier than she would have if she had been fully English.

A very good read. I can highly recommend this book.
