Bradley Nelson has always dreamed of becoming a country music star. He thought he was well on his was when all hell breaks lose on the way to visit his mom in Reno. You have heard the saying anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Well thatís just what Bradleyís life is becomingÖ. everything thatís wrong. He has been abandoned in Reno by his girlfriend an up and coming rock star that thinks heís using her to further his career. His debut album is far less than the chart topping smash he thought it would be and he has just found out that his record label is dropping him.

Just when he thought things couldnít get worse Brad finds out they most certainly can. Bradís mom a former IRS auditor retired and now working as a bookkeeper in a casino has discovered some unsavory practices from her boss. Harriet is suddenly suspected of stealing more than three million dollars from the casino and is on the run from very real gun toting thugs with Bradley in tow.

Along the way they pick up a woman in a gorilla suit who is just trying to make the rent. Delphine Armstrong was just doing a little flirting with the handsome cowboy clad Brad when she suddenly finds herself dodging bullets and running for her life. After hiding out in a wedding chapel and almost tying the knot to escape the pair escape to a waiting Winnebago driven by Harriet and the fun is just beginning.

Dream On had me rolling with laughter almost from the first page. With charming characters and a pace that never slows down Ms. Brandt catches the readerís attention and never letís go. This is one of those books that you will defiantly want to read in one setting because you just canít stop thinking about what will happen next. Just when you think you have everything all figured out the author throws in another little twist or turn to prove you wrong.

Ms. Brandtís last release Room Service has been looked at by Hollywood for movie development I can see Dream On following in its footsteps. Get ready for a fast paced, wacky, laugh out loud ride with this one. Dream On is Ms. Brandt at her absolute best.
