Brady McCormick and his young son, Daniel, have only just arrived on the shores of America with hundreds of other immigrants. Leaving his homeland of Ireland was tough enough but leaving his dead wife was even harder.

Saran Reichardt is the daughter of a wealthy newspaper owner. She has always been thoughtful of those who are less fortunate. Upon meeting Brady and Daniel, Saran is instantly attracted to the two Irishmen and quickly befriends young Danny.

Pamela Johnsonís A Christmas Promise is a sweet love story about a man who has lost his wife and fulfills his last Christmas promise to her by bringing their son to America. He is a strong hardworking man and exceptionally proud. He canít understand what a rich beautiful woman like Saran would want with him. Saran is lovely, just lovely. She has a heart of gold and the face of an angel. I enjoyed this wonderful romance and feel that everyone, not just historical romance lovers, will enjoy it too.
