Catriona MacLeod is in a little predicament. She’s fleeing from a marriage that she doesn’t want and she has five, bothersome brothers who are making her life a living hell. When in the midst of fleeing and the weather turning nasty, Catriona is thrown into the path of Tayg Murno, a warrior in King Robert the Bruce’s army.

Tayg knows that he’s a charmer and a rascal, but he’s no match when it comes to this wonderful creature who has stumbled onto his path. Catriona makes his blood boil. She’s stubborn, beautiful and a shrew, if he’s ever seen one. But how can he protect her from her brother’s and the man who seeks to harm his king?

This is a fun and wonderful book. Getting kilted never sounded so good! LOL

Catriona and Tayg are the perfect match for each other. Thrown tighter in the harshest of weather, surviving a harsh climate and still able to manage to fall in love, you really have to love those Scotsmen. Ms. Wittig brings us another keeper with Charming the Shrew.
