Molly Turner has serious problems. Her husband Daniel is dead, she is receiving mysterious notes and she is not sure that she will be able to keep the ranch that her daughter inherited. Her only hope is that JB will help her to turn things around. A friend of her brother Kevin, JB knows horses, ranching and her brother trusts him. The question now is, can she trust him?

JB is an ex-sniper for the government, a horse trainer and an alcoholic. He is not sure what he will do next if Molly doesn’t ask him to stay and help her. He knows that he is not too far from falling off the wagon again. He is fiercely attracted to her, but knows that they will have their work cut out for them in making any kind of relationship work. Will he be able to handle working for the woman he lusts after?

When the passion between Molly and JB explodes, they are both caught unprepared for the depth of intimacy that they feel for each other. They both have emotional hurdles to face. Molly faces the threat of losing her home and deciding if she can handle losing her heart to another man who doesn’t love her. JB hopes he can hold on to sobriety and keep the two people he would do anything to protect.

JB and Molly handle their relationship very maturely. I loved them. The only thing I had a problem with is that the mysterious notes are not revealed earlier. I would think with the threatening tone of them, Molly would take them more seriously. We also get a secondary story line involving Cecilia and Victor that involves Molly and JB. I enjoyed the other two installments of this series. While I was a little disappointed with this one, overall it is a great series and well worth reading.
