Rachael is a wedding planner and she was an attendant in one of her best friend's wedding. The best man was saying things with his eyes that she was not interested in at all. So what does one do in that situation? Avoid him, of course. And so she sets out to do just that. She doesnít have time for and doesnít want a relationship. She also isnít a one-night kind of gal either.
Nate was the best man in his friends Samís wedding. He took one look at Rachael and knew he wanted to get to know her. Oh, he didnít know how much getting to know you he wanted to do, besides the bedroom kind of getting to know you. Nate was handsome, in great shape and wealthy. He normally had women all over him, but not Rachael.
Rachael didnít want to get to know Nate at all, but Nate was persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer. Even when she told him she doesnít do relationships. But she still agreed to see him occasionally. Still thinking she could keep her feelings and emotions under control. Boy, was she wrong.
Tempting The Tycoon was a story that I easily got lost in. I didnít want to put it down until the very end. Rachael had to hurdle some problems from her past before she could move on. This included her whole life both professional and personally. Nate understood, he did push some but he was also gentle and knew that Rachael had something she had to overcome before she could accept her love for him and his love for her. The tactics that Nate employed were great and when Rachael turned the tables on him, he saw what he was doing. Nate had to figure out a little about himself as well and it was nice to see that his brother had a little fun at his expense.
If you havenít read anything by Cindy Gerard, you donít know what you are missing. Iím looking forward to her next release.
