Hannah Campbell was a young girl when she met Gavin MacGregor for the first time. Hannah liked Gavin then and has never gotten Gavin out of her system and she never will as she fell in love with him that fateful day.

Gavin was going to take Hannah back to her home but before he did, he went to the camp he and his father had setup. Only Gavin never made it back to where he left Hannah by the pond. Gavin was seriously injured that day and his father died as they were ambushed.

Unbeknownst to Gavin, he was about to meet Hannah again and he had vowed to not consummate the marriage. He didnít want to marry into a rival clan but he had made a promise and he did not back out of a promise. Gavin didnít realize that Hannah was the girl he met all those years ago as he was told she had died as well. Can those feelings for the girl he met before turn into something more?

Hannah realizes the Gavin doesnít know who she is and she doesnít quite understand that. Canít he see the girl that has blossomed into a woman? Can her love for Gavin be enough? Hannah knows what she wants and goes after it, she is not a simple miss but does what she needs to do, even going against Gavin if need be. And she does on occasion.

Gavin is your typical male, that doesnít believe in love or that he is falling in love, but he has. He is jealous and doesnít know how to control it. But he is also kind-hearted as well. He is kind and fair to those who are kind and fair to him and watches out for those who need it. But do not cross him.

Highland Honor is just that, the honor of the Highland men and women. The honor that binds them and the promises made for the good of the clan. It is also about a love that was lost then found, with bumps and twists along the way. There is someone out to harm Gavin and Hannah and anyone that stands in the way. Can they find this killer before he is able to hurt either of them or anyone else?

Ms. Pepio has given us a great story of love and honor. The story will keep you turning the pages to find out what she has in store for the characters and you will not be disappointed. The story is fast paced and easy to finish in one sitting, because you will not want to put the book down. If you like men in kilts and their strength then donít pass up Highland Honor.
