Brady and Melina Campbell had it all, or so they and everyone thought. Then one day, Brady came home and confessed the ultimate sin. He had betrayed his promise to Melina to love, honor, cherish and forsake all others, until death do they part. Melina was more then happy to help him on his way.

One year later, Brady has been on a binge. Drinking and late nights have taken their toll, he misses his wife, but he knows that it is a long uphill battle to reclaim what he had lost, the love of his life, his soul mate, Melina. With the help or his guardian angel, Pricilla, and a little divine intervention, he just might be able to pull it off. Did I mention that Pricilla is his mother-in-law and that she’s dead?

Melina is ready to move on with her life. After a year, she has decided that it is time to let go of her marriage and get back into life. But she never expects to realize that she was still in love with Brady, even though she hates his guts for what he did to her and their marriage. How do you forgive the man who broke your heart and at the same time love him the same as the day you married him?

Brady and Melina have to come to grips with his infidelity and accept their responsibility for what happened. It is a long, hard battle that will require honesty, courage and the conviction that they are meant to be together for eternity.

Sex With Your Ex, is a humorous, yet emotional look at the consequences of infidelity and how these two people handled it. They are real, the emotions are raw and yet the love and anguish they are feeling is apparent. This reviewer found herself by turns wanting to kick Brady in the privates for hurting Melina and at the same time rooting for them to work out their differences and get back together. Pricilla is a riot. This trash-talking angel is brash, straight forward and just a little bit annoying, but in a good way. She is also, vain, shallow and self-centered. She has her own journey in this challenge and in the end, they all find out that with love, all things are possible. Author Dakota Cassidy has written a lovely, emotionally compelling story. Keep the tissues handy and I hope you will join me in rooting for these two wonderful characters.
