Cat Wellesley is down on her luck and running out of time to get back on her feet. Her rent is due and she is worried about how she’s going to stretch her dollars. Feeling betrayed, she left her last job with the feeling that her career was on the rise and she would have no trouble securing something better. When this doesn’t happen right away, she finds herself struggling to find an opening for her. As a temporary measure she’s working at Rueben’s as a temp girl.

Cat is still trying to get over being the other woman in an affair with a man named Declan. When she starts at Rueben’s she falls into instant lust and fantasy with her boss. Is the fantasy better than the reality? Can she ever find someone worth having?

Fans of chick lit, will not want to miss What Goes Around. Full of snappy dialogue, and human characters, What Goes Around, is sure to be a hit with this genre. The reader will find himself or herself, wanting things to work out for her even if you can’t agree with all the choices she’s made to get herself into this predicament. There is a lot of rough language in the book, in the choices of how some of the characters interact with others. For instance Derek, though a nasty mouth boy, does somehow become endearing somewhere along the way.

Pick up What Goes Around and travel to Hong Kong to work for a television company. Then it will return you to London to watch as one-woman struggles with the fact that she may have to actually face the past she thought she’d left behind when it begins intruding on her present. You’re sure to find many chuckles along the way.
