This is a short, delightful hoot of a saucy romance! Firstly, the premise that six-foot-six hunky aliens are bred simply as sexual slaves to the women of their planet is really quite a nice idea. Tell me where to buy a ticket for the next intergalactic bus and I’m gone!

Taking one of these alien sex-slaves and plopping him down on Earth in the apartment of a smart businesswoman with brains and a decidedly lackluster sex-life is inspired. Sure, the story is contrived, and quite predictable to any science fiction fan with an obsession for Saturday afternoon creature features, but it’s still a charming tale. What holds it together is the relationship that develops between Yar, Intergalactic Stud, and Adrianne, Earthwoman – well, not so sexy. It’s delightful to watch Yar learn how to be independent, and Adrianne discover the charms of having her own sexual slave. Their adventures together are humorous, well-thought-out, and result in the requisite happy ending.

Of course, being a shorter length story, there’s much that could have been included, and yes…a common complaint is “I would like to have learned more”. But this book packs a very nice punch into its 90-odd pages, and although it would have been lovely to spend more time inside Yar’s mind as he absorbed the new concepts of Earth, it certainly isn’t necessary.

And you’ll notice I haven’t mentioned the Orgasmizer9000. You’ll have to read the book to find out about that for yourself. I will say that we’ll all be in big trouble if Sony ever gets its hands on those blueprints.
