Anything written by Sabrina Jeffries is a good read! You'll never be disappointed.

Lady Helena Laverick needs help and needs it fast. Being a follower of Mrs. Nutley's Guide to Etiquette for Young Ladies, she knows it's breaking the rules to go to a bachelor's residence unescorted. But that's exactly what she does when she seeks out Mr. Daniel Brennan. When she arrives at his residence to beg him to assist her in finding her sister Juliet, he opens the door wearing nothing but a smile and his drawers. Helena is naturally caught off guard, and stares at the beautifully sculpted body of this Adonis of a man, "Oh dear," she says to herself, "How many more of Mrs. N's rules will I break before this is all over?"

When Daniel answers the pounding on his door, the last person he expects to find is the stiff laced shrew, Helena Laverick. What in the deuce was she doing here and unescorted no less? He couldn't wait to find out. Helena explains she's just learned that her sister Juliet has run off to elope with a man whom she barely knows. Helena voices her concerns that Juliet isn't really off to an elopement, but that she may have been kidnapped by a smuggler! Being that Daniel was a smuggler in his early years, naturally she would seek his help in finding Juliet. She begs Daniel to help her and insists that he take her along. Of course, Daniel refuses at first, but who can deny her anything when she sets her stubborn mind to it? Certainly not him, and he's sure he'll regret it later.

They set off on an adventure full of intrigue and secrets. But what they really find is true love in each other and a passion so fierce it burns up the pages.

You'll love Helena and Daniel. His sweet words of love and encouragement will melt your heart, and leave you wishing he were saying those things to you!

This is a wonderful story. I'm so glad that Helena and Daniel received their own story, after reading of their attraction in A Dangerous Love. I can't wait to see what Ms. Jeffries comes up with next!
