Chaz Vincent disappeared five years ago somewhere over the wild jungles of the amazon. Leaving behind his wife Kelly, who searched for him until she finally accepted that he was not coming back and had him legally declared dead. What Kelly didnít know was that Chaz was being held by a tribe of pygmies, and has finally escaped and canít wait to be by her side.
Kelly Vincent knows there will never be another man like Chaz, she is was about to attend his memorial service, that was accidently scheduled only hours after her second wedding. Kelly is very surprised when she sees a strange, tanned man who looks just like Chaz, only to discover it is Chaz. Thatís when all hell breaks lose.
Pam McCutcheon has penned a wonderfully charming novel that possesses the same humor as the movie My Favorite Wife. To make My Favorite Husband a little different from the movie, the roles of the hero and heroine are switch which lead to some funny situations and many misunderstandings.
I enjoyed this read very much, but I was however a bit frustrated by Kelly`s wishy-washy ways, at the same time I was sympathetic to her dilemma: How`s a girl suppose to choose between two husbands? Chaz didnít make the decision any easier and I felt he was coming on a little strong in the beginning, but in the end he backed off and I really liked him. My favorite character was Scott Kelly`s brother. He was the much needed comic relief when things turned too serious. Look for his story to be coming soon. I highly recommend this read if you want a good laugh.
