Sabrina Jeffries brings us another delightful romp through Regency England.

Spencer Law, fifth Viscount Ravenswood and former spymaster, will never marry. He will produce no heirs to the title, nor will he ever enable himself to fall in love. This is the course he has set for his life, that is until he meets Abby Mercer. Abby is the first woman he has ever wanted to consider for a wife, but what kind of husband would he make when he can't give her the one thing all women desire, children of their own?

Abigail Mercer is the daughter of an American doctor. Her father is the creator of ‘Mercer Medicinal’ a special mixture of ingredients that cures all. Abby is very attracted to the sophisticated Englishman and when he returns to England and his brother reveals that Spencer has fallen in love with her and wants to marry her by proxy, well what red blooded American wouldn’t jump at the offer?

Several months later, when Abby shows up at Spencer’s door announcing that she is his wife, naturally he is surprised. What the devil is going on here? He never married Abby; through proxy or any other measure. What had his brother done now?

Ms. Jeffries has done it again! She has given us another fantastic story about Regency England, with a twist of American ingenuity that creates the perfect storyline. Throw in a manipulative brother and a busy-body gossip and ‘Voila’ you have Married to a Viscount! I have purposely left out many aspects of the story in my review, not wanting to give anything away. But believe me, there is plenty of fun, intrigue and passion to keep you from putting this book down long enough to get a cold glass of water, because you’ll need it.

Sabrina is one of our most perfect storytellers of the genre. All of her stories are passionate, fun and always memorable. You will never go wrong with one of her books, I guarantee it!!
