Catharine Olsen has left Amsterdam, Holland, for Cheyenne, Wyoming as a mail order bride. But she has neglected to tell her husband-to-be some important details. She is bringing her two dependent sisters with her since she is their caregiver, and something else...
Peter Anderson is a bit floored by the fact that his wife is a red-head when heís expecting a blond, but he still finds her beautiful. But heís concerned with the two girls she has with her. How will he support an instant family?
But that isnít the least of his concerns. Peterís mother, upset by his marriage to a mail-order bride, orders a background check done on his new wife. But what she discovers during the check has the potential to destroy Peterís and Catharineís marriage.
Deeply Devoted is another mail order bride story with a different twist. I like all the ways authors are finding to write these stories so they arenít all the same. I also appreciated that Catharine and Peter entered into the marriage by consummating it (uncommon in most inspirational novels). And I appreciate that they had a normal newlywed behavior. I donít really know how to say what else I need to say without spoilers...except there didnít seem much else to the plot, other than Catharineís untold secret.
