Animal Attraction had me laughing out loud at the witty way Jill Shalvis has once again written. There is much charm with the characters, as well as the romance. I just wish I knew that this series was out there before I picked up this book. I am not saying you need to read the others to understand this one, but I would have loved to have read it, and I shall be looking for Animal Magnetism to put into my pile of books to read.

Jade Bennett is recovering from a tragedy that happened at a place she once worked at. She needs time to recover, and has found that place in Sunshine, Idaho. Itís only temporary, and she knows she canít run forever. She made a promise to her family that she would be back by a certain time, and plans to keep that promise. Not only is there that, but her former job is waiting for her, too, because she is the best in that position. Can she really go back though? But she had no idea that her attraction to the local vet, Dr. Dell Connelly would not only find an attraction with her, but her with him.

Dr. Connelly knew that she was running but did not know why and did not push or ask questions. She is leaving and he does not want her to go. Dell is very attracted to Jade and when he learns she is leaving it is even harder for him to fight the attraction. He wants her to stay even though she is very much over-qualified for the job she has, he wants her in his life and maybe he may have to fight for her, even admit there might be love in the air.

As I said above I really loved this story. When I read the town being called Sunshine my first thought was...really...but I gave it a chance and I did not regret it at all. It is a keeper for me.
