The longer he spends with Lisa, the more he hopes that she isn't the thief. He longs to show her that he can be trusted with her secrets and dreams.
The closer Lisa and Matthew get, the more they long to be able to trust each other. Lisa works to overcome her fear of rejection. Matthew works hard to find the real thief. They heal each other's wounds and start believing in a future together. But is there still a criminal out there? When the thief's identity is revealed, will their love be strong enough to stand the test of the truth?
Even though there was no real suspense about whom the thief was, there were enough twists and turns to make it interesting to read how Matthew went about catching him. The interaction between the characters was believable. It was comforting to watch how Lisa and Matthew grow and mature during the progress of the book. Though the ending felt rushed, there was no doubt about it ending happily.
You Are Loved has characters that feel like real people facing real problems. These characters learn a wonderful lesson about forgiveness and acceptance all the while they grow in love.
