In A Dangerous Attraction, Lisa Renee Jones brings us a sexy contemporary suspense novella.

After being summoned to a meeting by her boss, Meagan finds out that the insufferable chief of security, Sam Kellar will be present as well. Knowing that Meagan has been the victim of a stalker for two months, their boss decides to ask for Samís advice and intervention. Meagan is not particularly thrilled at the prospect of having Sam involved in her affairs, after all, who would want to get too close to a man that confuses her so? A man that she has been intent on avoiding at all costs.

Once Sam learns about Meaganís problem, it becomes obvious to him that staying away from her is no longer an option. Sam is now intent, not only on protecting Meagan, but also on making her his.

A Dangerous Attraction is a good short read. Despite length limitations, the author brings us an adequately developed love story laced with enough suspense, that was well written, with frequent love scenes. The characters are likeable. Sam and Meagan have the ďhotsĒ for each other and it shows from the beginning. After denying their mutual attraction they finally surrender thanks to extraordinary circumstances they see themselves in. For anyone wanting to indulge in a quick suspenseful summer read, this book would be a good choice.
