A year ago, Leslie Turner met her fiancé for lunch two weeks before their wedding to each other. Unfortunately, she also met her fiancé’s new wife. Now, Leslie and her sister, Kat, are all set for a “sister’s only getaway”. They’ve borrowed Kat’s husband’s motor home and plan a weeklong camping trip. They thought they knew how to hook everything up. Luckily, the gorgeous man in the next campsite is around and eager to help.
Gray Webster is looking forward to his last two weeks of freedom. After he returns home from his last camping/fishing trip, Gray will become a married man. Yet, he is extremely attracted to one of his new “neighbors”. He starts suffering not only pangs of guilt because of his attraction to Leslie, but he is also getting nervous about his upcoming nuptials.
Vanessa Hart creates a touching and erotic story with Happy Campers. Leslie was hurt prior to her wedding and now she is attracted to someone close to his own wedding. She is strong enough to try and fight the attraction, but she realizes that when the attraction feels so right there is no use in fighting it. Gray also attempts to fight his attraction even as the “wedding jitters” start to become painful. By the time this couple “gets together” even I was frustrated, and I certainly cheered when it happened. These two learn what true love is about, not only from each other, but from those around them as well.
This novel has it all - attraction, true love, even a little bit of evil. I enjoyed the smile it brought to my face and would definitely recommend it for a “happy” romantic read! Ms. Hart has put herself on my keeper list with this story.
